Reviews FAQ
Is it possible to change the time zone for my reliability roll-up report?
The reliability score is calculated in the UTC time zone.
Why does my recently created report displays the N/A value for the reliability score?
It requires up to 24 hours for the reliability data to populate. Before this, the report will display the N/A value for the reliability score.
This delay happens because the reliability score is calculated daily for every SLO. When SLOs collect data within the time range of a report, the RS becomes visible shortly after generating that report. If a new SLO is created or didn't gather data during the reporting period, the reliability score will display the N/A value for this period.
For example, if an SLO is generated in August and a report is created for July, the reliability score will show N/A. You can replay your SLO to populate it SLO with historical data in such cases.
Why can't I see services and projects in my reliability roll-up report?
The visibility of empty projects and services (those without any SLOs) in reliability roll-up reports depends on the structure type.
- Auto-generated structure: Empty projects and services will not appear in the report.
- Custom structure: Empty projects and services are displayed because they are treated as individual folders. However, they are not included in the reliability score calculation.
What does it mean that an SLO is "within" or "over" budget?
- Over budget: At least one of the SLO’s objectives is burning its error budget excessively during the specified time range.
- Within budget: No SLO's objective is burning its error budget faster than expected during the specified time range.
What does it mean that an SLO objective is "over budget"?
- For the rolling time windows, an SLO is considered "over budget" if its remaining budget value drops below the target for at least one calculation point, and this happens daily.
- For the calendar-aligned time windows, an SLO is considered "over budget" if its reliability score at the end of any reporting time range or end of any SLO's time window is lower than 100%.
