The mandatory Step parameter has been added to the following data sources:
  • AMS Prometheus
  • Azure Monitor managed service for Prometheus
  • Coralogix
  • Google Cloud Monitoring
  • Prometheus

    • Step defines the metric resolution retrieved from your data source, with the default value of 60 seconds.

    Step value recommendations

    For the optimal performance, consider the following recommendations:

    • Use a value of 15 seconds or more
    • The value should be equal to or less than the query interval set for your data source

    For backward compatibility, a Step value of 15 seconds is automatically applied to all existing agents. You can modify this value at any time.
