improved Name and Display name character limit is 253β
The character limit in the Name and Display name fields has been significantly increasedβfrom 63 to 253 symbols. This enhancement provides you with greater flexibility to craft more descriptive and meaningful names, while the other requirements for the Name (name
) field remain unchanged.
improved User annotations renamed to Commentβ
The User annotation category is now Comment. This clearly distinguishes annotations manually added by users from those generated by the system.

improved No data annotations template enhancedβ
The enhanced No data annotations provide more context to help you troubleshoot missing SLI data. In addition to the existing information, the following details are displayed:
- The annotation rule label.
It indicates how the data anomaly was detected~annotation-rule: manual
βthe No data anomaly was detected by a user-defined rule configured for this specific SLO~annotation-rule: auto
βthe no data anomaly was detected by a system-defined rule. This default rule is the same for all SLOs and cannot be changed by a user
- The duration of the no data period
- Troubleshooting hints
- Reference information
- The name of the objective that is missing data
- When the objective last reported a data point
- When the data anomaly was detected (including the waiting time set in the detection rule)

Waiting times
- Auto-detection rule: The waiting time is fixed at 3 hours
- Manually configured rules: The waiting time can range from 5 minutes to 31 days
